Braised Pork Hock with Black Moss 髮菜燉豬手
This is well known dish for celebrating Chinese New Year it means bringing wealth to the family. The Black Moss also known as Hair Vegetable in Chinese. They are very rare to get nowadays, it gives more texture and palate to the taste. The Pork Hock are bought from the wet market in the morning then marinated with seasoning like fermented bean curd, ginger and garlic. The black moss will have to be soak in water then everything will be put into a wok and then braised in a pot of hot soap.
